Cebu City is like Metro Manila of the Visayas. It is one of the cleanest and most improved province in the Philippines today in my own opinion. You can find malls that you think you can only see in Manila and you can find all sorts of services there too whether personal, professional or business. The business sector is also one of the most improved part of the local economy.
Because of all these, the province also had the most improved and beautiful modes of transportation in all provinces in the Visayas. I have personally been to Iloilo but even if it had taxis in the vicinity, it still can't compare to what Cebu City can offer to the occasional tourist or its residents. Many people have their own cars and jeepneys would sit at much as 50 people with great designs.
